Sunday, August 27, we had our church ⛪️ picnic following a special 11 am Mass. After a prayer by father we all got to sit down and enjoy a wonderful potluck. The men’s club made hamburgers, hotdogs, and corn on the cob to go along with everything. The kids enjoyed being outside for the bounce house, sand toys for toddlers, played golf, cake walk, corn hole, piñata, bean bag toss, face painting, bracelet making, bean bag toss, water balloon toss, lawn tic tac, and other games. Had a fishing tournament which Rhett McCoy won with his two fish weighing 23 lbs. Everyone got to enjoy popcorn and ice cones. Inside the adults enjoyed games of bingo winning prizes. Darlene Honeysett was big winner at winning a grill set and the grand prize of a charcoal grill. I want to personally thank all those that helped with setting up and tearing everything down; thank you to those helping with the games. I also want to thank my sister Cathy and friend Gerry for coming to help with things also. Many hands make less work for all. Looking forward to planning for next years picnic. If you have any ideas or interested in helping me, please email me at [email protected], call or text me at 2696809132. Thanks again for all coming to the picnic. Judy Taylor, picnic coordinator
